About us
Gil&Toni’s Idea
Our mission is to shape teaching and university culture to be as gender-sensitive, colorful, and diverse as a lively marketplace, without dusty theories or moralizing lectures. We serve knowledge about gender diversity in small, delicious bites, from juicy insight apples to spicy FAQ mustard, designed to spark curiosity and the desire for more. Because we believe that positive coexistence emerges when many different things exist at the same time, not merely side by side, but ideally in an easygoing, humorous, and open dialogue. Our goal is to create a space in which all tastes, shapes, and colors have a place and enrich one another. So come by, browse through our shelves, and take with you whatever appeals to you, without pressure to buy and without surveillance cameras. What you like comes along, and what does not fit quite yet can stay on the shelf for now.
At HM, she has served as Deputy Women’s Representative since 2017.
In 2017, SK conceived and initiated the first German communication campaign for equality at universities, “His or Hers.” The campaign was adapted and rolled out at several German universities. The posters she designed were later included in a Munich museum collection.
Gil&Toni is a vibrant place that grows and changes. With you.
See you in the Market! 🌈

At this point, we would like to sincerely thank all individuals from the university community as well as from external companies and organizations who contributed both large and small efforts toward the opening of the Super Gender Market through their influential work and enthusiastic support. Special thanks go to Beatrice Alischer (M.A.) and Dr. Birgit Himmelseher for their valuable contributions to laying the foundation, and to Dr. Heike Schilling for her ongoing administrative guidance and clarity.
